About the Author






Kamlesh Barwal is an International Trainer with the Art of Living Foundation. She travels worldwide teaching people of all backgrounds, cultures and religions how to effectively manage their mind and emotions, eliminate stress, live in harmony amid diversity and bring greater peace and joy into their lives through simple yet profound Yoga techniques.
Over the past eleven years with the Art of Living Foundation, Kamlesh has taught extensively in India, Kazakhstan, the Middle East, China and Russia. Apart from teaching a wide range of Art of Living courses, she specializes in training teachers in Sri Sri Yoga, a balanced and thorough design of yoga postures, breathing, meditation and yogic knowledge, designed to help yoga aspirants remove self-imposed limitations, realize their full potential and offer their talents in service to the society.
Born in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh in India, Kamlesh is a Bachelor in Business Administration. This is where she turned to the Art of Living Foundation to find means of dealing with the stress, anxiety and challenges that her college years brought. But, what began as a mere practice for a healthy body and relaxed mind, soon became a lifestyle and there was no looking back.
Today, as one of the most sought after Sri Sri Yoga teachers, Kamlesh  is residing in The Art of Living International centre in Bangalore, under a constant tutelage and loving guidance of her Master, H.H. Sri Sri Ravishankar.
Known for her graceful asana practice, her classes are a blend of simplicity, fun, humor and lot of well explained yoga philosophy and knowledge.  A multifaceted Kamlesh not only teaches yoga and meditation but with her management skills has also successfully headed the Human Resources for The Art of Living International Centre in Bangalore, India for over two years. She has directed and acted in many yoga videos and tutorial films too.
